   Shadey

Shadey is a cola lionhead aged between 1 and 2 years old, and is currently unspayed.  She came in with Honey (now adopted).  Her dubious background contributes to the uncertainty of age.  Previous owners state she (and Honey) were victims of a marital split and neither partner wanted the buns, therefore they 'took them in'.  It is our belief that both rabbits have not been handled much and Shadey would love to trust again.  Once you catch her, she will sit in your arms for a cuddle.  She also now needs to feel secure emotionally and physically.

Shadey is quiet natured, perhaps due to her insecurity.  This may change once she settles in a permanent home.  Here at C.A.R.R.O.T. she currently lives in a combined hutch and run set up and prefers to be covered up at night.  She's cuprrently undergoing treatment for a weepy eye and an ear infection, however this should clear up soon.  She is also classed as a bunny-mix bun (ie fed on poor rabbit mix food).  We are therefore also monitoring the condition of her teeth and hopefully, with proper feeding, they will improve.

Shadey needs someone to love her and care for her, she's very sweet absolutely loves cuddles, and deserves a proper forever home.  She would make a wonderful houserabbit.  Do you fit the bill?

Update: Shadey's ear infection has now cleared up. However, her eye remains weepy, but this causes no problems and eye-drops keep it in check.  Closer examination will be carried out when she goes in for her spay.

Update: Shadey was spayed 23.11.04, and has been vaccinated.

Update: Shadey and Starsky are now husbun and wife, and have now been reserved, they hope to go to stay with their new mum Lisa in the near future (yay!)

Update 25.03.05: Shadey and Starsky have gone to their new home with Mammy Lisa.  Hopefully Lisa will send us a pic of them together once they've settled in!

and here they are, all loved up!
