Starsky is
approximately one year old and came in to CARROT with his buddy Hutch (also
for adoption), in September 2004.
His incisors were in
an appalling condition and have since been removed. This does not
affect his health and he is much happier as a result. The only
difference is his diet which will mean his veggies will have to be chopped
into bite sized bits, he still manages to eat hay and his pelleted food.
His new owner will also have to regularly check his bum to make sure it's
clean as the removal of his incisors means that it's not quite as easy for
him to get his caecal poos. He has also been neutered.
He has no other health
or behavioural problems, and is quite shy at the moment. Time, love
and care will change this, he is adorable but being a black bunny means that
most people aren't interested in him.
Starsky does however
like to be picked up and cuddled and groomed, and will gladly let you do
this for hours on end.
He would be an ideal
candidate for bonding as he has a very gentle and loving nature.
Can you offer him a
home?
Update: Starsky has been bonded with Shadey and reserved, and will leave for his new home early 2005
Update: Starsky and Shadey have now
gone to their wonderful new home, pictorial evidence of how happy they are!
