The module was designed for the knitwear industry. It is very sophisticated in its design, but simplicity itself in practical use. The normal standards for the industry requirements, such as styles, sizes and colours and different sale units such as units, 3s, 6s or dozens are handled.

Hand held technology and bar coding has been fully integrated into the software for ease of use and for traceability. The processes tracked include:

• Tracking the unfinished goods through the various processes required for their manufacture (e.g. knitting, turning, etc)
• Putting the finished goods into stock (stock made to order, support stock and free stock)
• Picking the finished stock to meet order requirements
• Recording the goods as they are packed
