Optimise Systems Ltd was formed in response to a growing demand for the various suites of software to be continued. The complexity of Prodigy is such that many Prodigy users would find it very hard to replace utilizing standard packages. It therefore prompted the current Board to offer a management takeover of Prodigy.

Prodigy was first developed as a bespoke application for the Trading and Fresh Produce Industries where it became widely recognized as the field leader. Many more bespoke applications followed including Textiles, Contractors, Wines & Spirits to name but a few.

Although Prodigy has seen various owners since its hay day, many of the current staff go back to the early days, and because of this we have retained the ability to write bespoke applications to suite most industries.
