The A491 route starting at Hagley will eventually branch at the island at Pedmore with the 3rd exit starting  the A4036 red route

From Pedmore along Grange Lane into Lye. Here it will cross over the A458 red route - lucky old Lye!!

Along Dudley Road and climbing steadily up Thorns Road and to the traffic lights where it will cross the A4100 (yet another planned red route).

It passes the Merry Hill centre on the left on the Pedmore Road going into Highgate Road on to the traffic light at Holly Hall where it will join with the A461 red route (proposed and strenuously opposed!!!). What have the residents of Woodside done to deserve TWO red routes?
