M-WebLog Machine web server
The machine interface is also a web server which can be connected to the monitoring system by cable Ethernet, radio Ethernet or GPRS using a GSM modem or a combination of these. This gives a great deal of flexibility and allows the most efficient and cost effective communication method to be chosen. The M-WebLog can monitor up-to 8 machines with cycle speeds up-to 600 cycles per minute. This brings the cost to interface to a machine to below £62 per machine making it a very cost effective solution. With 16 Digital inputs, 2 Serial RS232 ports, 1 RS485 port, Ethernet port and analogue options the M-WebLog can interface with most equipment found in a factory. The unit contains a buffer so it can be used for applications that don't need to be on-line but polled at regular intervals to update the data.
