Interface to ERP
The production requirements can be entered manually or downloaded from an ERP system. The Job is then manually or automatically allocated to a machine. Drag and drop facilities are provided for manual editing of the schedule. By interfacing with the integral machine monitoring facility Vantage-Point, the Gantt chart can automatically be kept up-to-date in real-time. This means the schedule is always up-to-date with no additional input necessary from production worksheets. Machine status, i.e. Running, Stopped, Setup and Planned are colour coded. The progress of all Jobs can be viewed continually by all personnel from the production departments to the management and sales departments.
