Peterborough Racial Equality Council (PREC) is a registered charity which was first established in 1974. Before re-constitution in 1990, the organisation was known as Peterborough Council for Community Relations (PCCR). Over the past 30 years we have worked with and continue to work with individuals and organisations for a fair and just society, which celebrates diversity and gives everyone an equal chance to work, learn and live free from discrimination and harassment.
Our current advice services are for immigration, nationality, racial harassment and racial discrimination. Our current projects are capacity development within BME groups and organisations, community development with adults and young people within the traveller community and empowering young people through unity.
