The way
wide-screen was intended to be!
High performance PC graphics card
with special drivers for wide-screen plasma display panels, LCD and CRT
monitors - including screen rotation software for portrait mode
Model: GC-K2P-64 (PCI bus)
Multi-display screen rotation control

On Windows 2000 and XP the Pixel Perfect
Display Manager is now able to control up to 9 separate displays all of
which may be running at different resolutions and orientations (portrait
or landscape). In addition it is possible to mix wide-screen and standard
4:3 resolutions and even support panels from several manufacturers requiring
different timing specifications simultaneously. Individual control for
orbiter and burn reduction features is also supported.

The above image shows an example Windows
desktop where each Pixel Perfect adapter is driving a display from a different
manufacturer, at different resolutions, and where the screen orientation
is different for each display. The desktops may also be arranged a vertical
or rectangular formation.

Orbiter and Burn Reduction software for Pixel Perfect
Display Manager
Orbiter helps prevent and reduce Image Retention
and Phosphor burn on Plasma Display Panels by slowly shifting the image
around the display. This allows pixel elements to be rested or show a
different colour periodically. Applications showing static text or images
will cause less wear or aging to the Plasma Display when Orbiter is enabled.
The life of the display can therefore be extended.

If the nature of the application and displayed
images is such that it is not possible to prevent Image Retention or Phosphor
burn then the Burn Reduction control can be used to reduce the impact
of display degradation. This works by exercising all pixels to an equal
degree thus minimising the visible difference between screen areas affected
by 'burn-in' and those lesser used areas of the screen. The scheduler
facility allows the Burn Reduction procedure to be setup once and thereafter
run at the specified intervals without further user intervention.

JVC, Panasonic and many other PDP manufacturers
