Sex, synths eyeliner return in retro-modernist form with added punked up gusto. Nemo's powerful mix of synthetic hooks, loud guitar, driving drums and inescapable pop provide a beautiful, sexed up musical paradox. Theirs is not the nostalgia of Level 42, Live Aid and legwarmers, but a deep, dark, decadent echo of Bowie, Depeche Mode, and Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Nemo have just finished recording their first album at their own studio which contains mixes from Jim Abbis (Bjork, Massive Attack, Placebo). Their set is full of driving electro-rock classics destined to be the first true 'songs' of the new, new-wave.
