Formerly the Plum Music Band of the Month, the Gasolineros create agonising love stories with a vicious streak; mournful tunes that rock. Their first 4-track demo was played on Xfm & BBC 6, & after successful shows at Water Rats in '02 & '03, they released their first single/EP "The Day I Ran Away" on Queen Bitch Records (formerly Che Trading - The Lilys, Urusei Yatsura), to wide critical acclaim, produced by Robin Proper-Sheppard (Sophia and The God Machine) and released throughout Europe in May 2003. After further shows at The Garage and a successful launch in the UK, the band recorded their first album, “Nash Point”, produced by Charlie Francis (REM, Turin Brakes, The Crocketts, High Llamas, Minus 5 and Wilco), which will be released in early 2004.
