Plum Membership

There are so many great bands out there - but how do you know which ones to go and see?  Which are going to be worth actually getting out there and making the effort?  The Plum Public Membership Scheme is about encouraging people to support grass roots music, to provide a helping hand in steering people towards great new bands out there, to give people money off to go see those bands before they hit the big time, to see what people out there are thinking, and hopefully provide a community of music lovers.  It's also FREE to join.

All you have to do is fill in the form here.  If you can't make it work, don't panic, just send nikki@plummusic.com an email.  Then, you'll get an email back to let you know you're signed up, and soon after, an email with a long list of gigs at all three venues that you can come along to, with a friend, and get in free.  At that gig, you'll be presented with your very own Plum Membership Card - laminated, no less.

Thereafter, you can come along to any normal Plum gig at any of the venues, and get £1 off the door price when you show the card.  You can also then get discounted advance tickets for shows on Ticketweb, as you'll be privy to the Plum Members Discount Code.

You'll also get a weekly newsletter, which contains full listings for all the venues, previews of bands and events coming up in the next week, competitions for tickets to shows, offers of gigs that are free to members, and invitations to showcases and secret gigs.

Recent competitions you could have won tickets to are Rilo Kiley, The Paddingtons, The Levellers, David McAlmont, The Ordinary Boys.

And all this is just at the moment.  Work is underway on forums and other exciting things to get you in touch with other music lovers and great bands out there, with members only sections of this website giving you the inside scoop on the hot new bands.

Meanwhile, check out the recently updated photo section for great new photos of bands that have played with us.

Which gigs can I pick up my card at and use my card at?

As a rough guide, any 'normal' 'Plum' gig.  That pretty much means any regular night, that isn't preceded by something saying "..." presents.  Eg, nights that are not Plum are Club Fandango, Club AC30, B-Movie Club, Track & Field, Global Mix, Metalworks.  If you're not sure, feel free to drop us an email to check.  If you want to pick up your card at the gig, you'll have to email anyhow to arrange for your card to be there - your card is not kept at the venue, since there are three venues, so it can't be all three, obviously.
