Training Courses available.

CHOICES is able to offer your organisation OCN (Open College Network) accredited training in many aspects of working with adults.  Current courses include:

  • Giving Effective Information and Advice  - 1 day
  • Essential Skills Awareness - 1 day
  • Equality and Diversity - ½ day
  • Barriers to Learning - ½ day

We can also provide elements of the above as short workshops as well as workshops on a wide variety of other topics e.g.

  • 'Working with Groups' - looking at group facilitation methods that work with adults

  • 'I just don't get it' - looking at identifying and accommodating different learning styles in work with adults and families

  • 'I need to know you' - developing effective and useful networks
