London Transport RML2271 (CUV 271C)

1965 AEC Routemaster R2RH/1, Park Royal H40/32R

RML2271 was new in July 1965 but did not enter service until November. In 1991 it was fitted with a Cummins engine and in 1993 was extensively refurbished by Marshall. In 1994 it became part of the privatised London Central fleet operating Route 36. In 2003 it moved to Stockwell, Putney and settled at Camberwell where it was branded for Route 12. In November 2004 it was sold to dealer Ensignbus and became part of the historic "Routemaster Raffle" entering preservation in December. The bus will be retained in as-withdrawn condition.
