The first of 20 Leyland Nationals bought by Greater Glasgow PTE, this vehicle
entered service in 1979. It was sold to Blackpool Transport in 1987 and later moved to Southend Transport. It was acquired for preservation
in 2001, latterly having been used for driver training. Restoration work has begun and the bus will be painted in it's attractive original livery of white with yellow and green skirt.
