1981 MCW Metrobus, MCW H46/31F




This Metrobus was new to South Yorkshire PTE and is unusual in being fitted with a vocal Rolls-Royce engine. The bus is currently painted in Halifax livery, but the owner is to paint it in the colours worn by demonstrator TOJ592S when on loan to Midland Scottish in the 1970s. It is even being fitted with a set of Midland specification seats!
