Glasgow's last AEC buses were 89 forward entrance Regent Vs new between 1960 and 1962 as tramcar replacements. These vehicles spent most of their time on busy cross-city services from Knightswood and Possilpark garages. New in 1961, A350 was used in passenger service until 1975. Greater Glasgow PTE then converted the vehicle into an exhibition unit for a variety of purposes, including staff training. It was purchased for preservation in 1983.
