CONGRATULATIONS to the LANGSTONE CUTTERS ROWING CLUB London2Paris Rowing Race team who have successfully brought home the
CNA Trophy and The Pedro Boats Pursuit Shield

The CNA Trophy was awarded to the team whom made the fastest elapsed time for the crossing from London to Paris. The times were :

Langstone Cutters Rowing Club: 95hrs 16min 55secs   Le FigaRow 104hrs 15min 58 secs

The Total winning margin: 8hrs 59min 03sec

The second trophy is the Pedro Boats Pursuit Shield awarded to the team with the most points gained from the pursuit races:

Jock Wishart (Race organiser) Said “Langstone Cutters Rowing Club are worthy winners of the first L2P Rowing Race. They displayed a dedicated and professional approach to the race."

Mike Gilbert, the Langstone Cutters team leader, also said: "The Langstone Cutters Rowing Club L2P team set out to our best, with teamwork at the heart, to complete the race in good order, have fun and win if within our reach. We are proud that our team spirit and fierce endeavour enabled us to win the race, while still smiling and enjoying the unique experience. Many thanks to Polar Adventures for organising the event; Pedro Boats for superb support at all times throughout the race; and Le FigaRow for providing challenging competition from the start in London to the finish in Paris."

We did this as a challenge to celebrate 10 years of Langstone Cutters Rowing Club but also to raise funds for charity.

Three ONLINE donation sites were set up which raised funds for the following charities from our remotely located friends and families. The results of donations from these sites is listed below, however we all, as individuals, had the sponsorship forms and badgered, and persuaded friends & family to contribute. At this time the money is still being collected and I will update this page to reflect the final totals when I have them.
