EDSON RAUPP

Edson grew up helping his father who had a respected tailoring business in south Brazil and after school would experiment with his father’s sewing machines & fabrics.

Edson has since designed many bags using recycled suit jackets where the key tailoring elements of sleeves, pockets, lapels, buttonholes and buttons form part of the design or act as decoration. The classic nature of the English gentlemen’s jacket is retained but an almost surreal aspect is developed, exemplifying a British eccentricity.

Each jacket is individually cut to best utilize its shape, design and colour in producing a unique bag.
