CRÈCHE NEWS
Five of our little girls who were regular attenders at Crèche have now progressed to the Beginners Department of Junior Church. Now we are only about three in numbers.
The crèche for children aged from a few weeks up to three years resumed on Sunday 6th September 2009 and will continue every Sunday (from 10.45am in the Minor Hall) until the end of June 2010.
The children are looked after by myself and a regular team of ladies each week in a friendly and happy atmosphere, giving parents the opportunity to attend the morning service.
I would personally like to thank the parents of one of our regular crèche children for their kind donation of Early Learning Vouchers as a gift to the crèche as their child starts in the Beginners Department of Junior Church.
Thanks are also expressed to the parents of two of our other regular attenders for their personal gifts to the crèche leaders as their children move on into Junior Church.

Tape Ministry
The Church makes available tape recordings of church services and our monthly magazine, New Life, for the use of the housebound in order that their contact with the Church can be maintained.
The convener of this facility is Bill Hutton, and he can be contacted through the church office.
Flower Ministry
The Church operates a Flower Ministry to enable members to contribute to the floral decoration of the church.
This can be in the form of a donation to the Flower Fund or to be used on a particular Sunday which the member wishes to mark for its personal significance.
After the morning service, the flowers are distributed to selected members of the congregation.
The convener is Mrs Eileen Dickson who can be contacted via the church office.
