QUEST

 

 

MEETING TIME

 

Sundays 11am September to June.

 

Quest is for young people from Secondary 1 upwards and they meet at the Church.

 

MISSION

 

Christian education of older children and teenagers within the church family  + parish + occasional visitors.

 

ORGANISATION

 

The young people follow a varied programme of study and activities that highlights the relevance of the Gospel to the challenges of living in the modern world. They are encouraged to participate at regular intervals in public worship.

 

They have an annual residential activity week-end at Teen Ranch which combines social and sporting activities with Christian education and devotions.

Their costs are met partly by fund raising activities organised by the young people themselves and partly by church funds.

 

We are also continually seeking ways to encourage the young people to participate fully in the work and witness of the Sherwood Greenlaw church family.

 

SPECIAL PROJECT

 

Young people are promoting the Fair Trade philosophy by arranging to operate a Fair Trade stall after worship at Sunday Break.
