BEEF

We rear our own calves from suckler cows that graze our land at Spring Farm. The calves after being weaned at no earlier than 6 months of age are finished on a home grown mix blend together with our own grass and maize silage.

Our beef is hung longer than normal (approx four weeks), which gives the meat much more tenderness and flavour.

PORK

All our pigs run outdoors in our woods and forage but they are housed in large stables with plenty of straw if the weather leaves the land lying very wet.

We breed from Oxford Sandy Sows and cross these with our Large Black Boar. Our pigs live in family groups and sows are served naturally. (We do have weaners available too). They are fed primarily corn from our own farm, but with bought in protein.
