About the club

Tawd Vale Air Rifle and Field Target Club is situated in woodland which forms part of the Tawd Vale Scout Association camping grounds just outside Newburgh. The club has an excellent safety record and promotes and instructs in the safe use of air weapons. We have members of all ages from 10 years upwards and our members travel from as far as Lytham St Anne's and North Wales. We cater for beginners and experienced shooters alike. The atmosphere is good and our members are friendly. We shoot at home every Sunday when we are not away at NWFTA or other competitions.

We are also shoot the Hunter Field Target discipline, adhering to the UKAHFT rules. A monthly shoot takes place as part of a club league, again on a Sunday. Last year we hosted round 8 of the UKAHFT nationals.

Tawd Vale is open most Sundays throughout the year, where members can shoot a course in either the FT or HFT style.
