Guitar workshop with Catfish Keith

2.00pm, Sunday 12th October, Marrs Bar, Worcester

Catfish Keith is playing the Marrs Bar in the evening, and I've managed to persuade him to hold a special workshop during the afternoon before the gig. Believe me , this hasn't been easy!

 Numbers will be strictly limited to make sure participants can make the most of this special opportunity to learn some of Catfish's special string-twanging techniques.  

 I organised one a couple of years ago at the Sutton Blues Collective, and can highly recommend it.  He usually splits the session between picking and slide, so you get a taster of lots of different techniques and styles.  Opportunities like this don't come along very often.  This is the only Midlands workshop that Mr Catfish will be holding, so get your name down early to avoid disappointment.

The gig is scheduled for 8.00pm. and Chickenbone Blues will be opening the evening, so why not make a day of it....come for the workshop, then a stroll round scenic Worcester, a spot of supper and a few beverages at a local hostelry, and on to a splendid evening's entertainment!
