Now for the Bad news

 

Paul Rishell and Annie Raines who were booked to play on the 17th October have cancelled their UK tour so will not
be doing that show for us. We hope they will re- shedule for another time.

On a plus note though we had a phone around and have managed to book
Kent DuChaine

to do our October gig for us.
He will be playing on the 10th October and tickets will be £8

Jam Nights at The Station

The Jam nights are still happenning at The Station on the second Wednesday of every month except where it clashes with a booked act as it is next month when we have Kent DuChaine on the second Wednesday so the Jam will be moved to the Third Wednesday (17th Oct)

 

The next Jam night will be the 12th September
Bring along an instrument and join in or just come to listen

More Blues News

 

This message was sent to me from Ken Stratford and we thought our members should know about it 

We will be starting the Crossroads Blues Club at the Tower of Song Café Bar in Cotteridge, Birmingham on Thursday 20^th September and plan to run it on a weekly basis. Each evening will feature an open mic session followed by a guest artiste so there will be plenty of opportunities for everybody to listen, play or just enjoy! We won’t be charging on the door but will be passing the hat for the guest artiste.
