The new Civil Procedure Rules, 1999, had a dramatic impact on the role played in court proceedings by an Expert. James Torr provides a Litigation Support Service fully compliant with the Rules and acts, as required, as an Expert Adviser, Party Appointed Expert or Single Joint Expert. The effect of the CPR on the Expert is described in the paper The Expert and the new Civil Procedure Rules, 1999 This paper is based on a presentation made by James at the Annual Conference of the Independent Surveyors Association, May 2000. James acts in compliance with The Academy of Experts "Code of Guidance for Experts and those instructing them".
