Our 2008 season opens on 1st April and ends 31st October. Winthrop Park is open each week day 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Sundays 10:30 am to 4:00 pm (subject to weather). We are CLOSED on Saturdays. Please telephone us to check openings on Bank Holidays.
The facilities have been specifically designed with the elderly and disabled adults in mind, and the gardens are split in to areas of specific interest to stimulate all the sensors. There is no entry fee, but visitors are required to sign-in and observe the requirements of admittance. Group visits must be pre-booked in advance. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome. Children must be accompanied at all times and supervised. We operate a no-smoking policy on the premises and grounds.
