HRH THE PRINCESS ROYAL VISITS WINTHROP PARK
TO PRESENT THE QUEEN’S AWARD
Winthrop Park has won the highest UK merit award - The Queen’s Award
for Voluntary Service. This prestigious award is equivalent of being
awarded an MBE to a charity or voluntary group and is attributed to the hard
work and dedication of our growing numbers of volunteers and the proven
positive impact we have achieved on the environment, well being, and the
community. It is a privilege and honour that Her Majesty The Queen
should recognise the work of a small charity in South Yorkshire as
champions of excellence in the work we do.
