We have used the ideas and concepts of our successes since 2003 to give inspirational talks, seminars, etc at Universities, government bodies, NHS Trusts, support organisations, health and environmental conferences, charities, etc and this has enabled us to support projects and sensory gardens locally, around the UK, and internationally. We were honoured to welcome HRH The Princess Royal to Winthrop Park who was intrigued to find out how our Nature Therapy work helped the disabled.
Our Outreach work is taken out and about to groups and organisations throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire - providing DVD presentations, inspirational talks, activities, poetry reading, etc to groups and organisations at their premises or at organised events.
We have encouraged, enabled, helped, and supported the creation and re-design of nature therapy gardens, allotments, sensory gardens, community parks, work-place gardens, and pocket parks so that people of all abilities and disabilities can benefit from them.
We have supported with manpower, knowledge, plants, equipment, and donations projects with schools, hospices, Parish Councils, community groups, universities, day care centres, open gardens, sheltered and supported housing, village greens, allotment societies, housing developments, hospitals, and work places. We have even helped projects set up in the USA, India, and Australia - the Hampton Park Community Garden in Casey, Australia was inspired by the direct result of their Councilors coming to visit us.
We support groups and organisations such as Headways, Alzheimer’s Society, Stroke Association, Cancer Care, Motor Neuron, Hospices, care and nursing homes, Parkinson’s Association, blind and partially sighted groups, day centres, etc and work through carers, social services, doctors, and hospitals to support individuals and their families.
We deliver inspirational and active Away Days for churches, groups, charities, companies, the NHS, etc - empowering and enabling them to set up sensory gardens and community projects in their work places, local communities, villages, etc.
Our healthy lifestyle projects include Mind How You Go nature walks, healthy food options, exercise activities, craftwork classes, gardening, etc.
