We work with other charities locally and nationally together with support organisations and community groups to maximise resources, impact, expertise, delivery and sustainability - these include MIND, Nature Save Trust, Big Lottery, Village Ventures, etc.
Our vision is to ripple out projects and support into local communities - providing resources and facilities near to where people live, as opposed to expecting people to travel to the charity itself. This also reduces environmental and carbon foot print issues, and ensures volunteers and helpers are locally on hand.
We run school projects - writing educational story books and going into schools. This has led to the setting up of school sensory gardens and school allotments. We inspire people through our Eternally Changing Seasons book, telling the stories of the people we have helped, and through our Outreach and Poetry books which pass on and spread our aims and objectives to enable others to take up the challenge in the communities in which they live.
We are pro-active in promoting our work through media coverage, interactive web-sites, news letters, talks and DVD presentations.
Above all our success is based on team work, and stretching the boundaries of what is possible, and listening to people to ensure we deliver what they need.
We have supported projects in collaboration with church initiatives, charities, the Lions, schools, Rotary Club, universities, and companies.
