We are proud to show you our beautiful mares.  We have a wonderful selection who have all been chosen for their temperaments, conformation and bloodlines.  Most of our QH mares have foundation breeding and were selected to produce good all round stock.  Some were sourced in the UK from reputable breeders, others were imported from the USA.  If you have any queries, please ask and we will do our best to help.

Gunners Blue Dandy (Pinkie)

2000 grey mare by Guns of Marietta ex Borregos Dandy. Pictured above with Acorn Jet, her 2008 foal, Pinkie's pedigree and disposition were the clincher here.  She is our second purchase from the Wolfe Ranch and had been used for trail riding.  We saw pictures of tiny children riding her and knew she was for us. Pinkie is 89% NFQHA.

  Her offspring are truly gorgeous and we are particularly proud of her offspring by Tinsel King.  Indeed, her 2006 filly, our own Acorn Fine n Dandy has earned 1.5 halter points in her halter career and others are now making their mark.  

I rode Pinkie when time allowed over the winter and, despite not having been ridden for around 7 years she was impeccably behaved.

Ms San Leo Rojo

2001 sorrel mare by Little Canoso ex Miss San Rey.  Rojo was imported in 2005 from Louisana.  She is a really sweet mare and super cool.  She had been ridden in the USA prior to import.  She gave us all a huge scare upon arrival at Amsterdam when it was discovered she had foaled in flight!!  Fortunately, superstar that she is, she'd managed not to step on her baby or damage her in any way and was quite unruffled by the experience! Rojo is 87% NFQHA.   Until this year she produced a series of three buckskin fillies and two palomino colts.  She has now produced a gorgeous bay filly pictured above as a newborn.  Rojo's offspring have excellent temperaments and are extremely well put together.

 Acorn Fine n Dandy

Suki is a 2006 homebred filly by Tinsel King ex Gunners Blue Dandy (Pinkie). She was produced for us during her yearling and two year old year by Mandy McIntyre (pictured above). Suki has gained 1.5 AQHA halter points and winding up as Reserve Champion Yearling Mare in AQHA.UK Year-end British Championships in 2007.  She has proved to have an unflappable temperament as well as her wonderful looks.  She is pictured below with me.

Suki  produced a colt foal, now a gelding, by Tyree Sunup Zan Parr in 2010.  He is a lovely youngster and can be seen on the 2010/2011 Progeny for Sale page.

Hopefully, Suki will be started this year and begin her career under saddle.
