Competitions and Events 2009/2010
HVSC recommend that swimmers attend
the events highlighted in blue, these will be attended by the HVSC
coaching staff. Swimmers are welcome to attend other events listed,
but whilst the HVSC coaching staff will attempt to attend these
events the responsibility for children lies with parents.
Please remember that it is also
parents responsibility to ensure that swimmers entry times,
membership number and address details are entered correctly on
the forms. Incomplete forms will be returned which may result in
missed closure dates.
Our head coach would like to remind all
competitors in open meets that following a race they should report
back to the poolside managers immediately and not wander off
to talk to parents etc. It is necessary to do this to ensure the
safety of the swimmer and for a review of the swim to take place as
soon after the event as possible.

Coach(s) will attend events whenever possible. Managers/Chaperones
may be present at other Meets
If any swimmer wishes to enter any other Open Meet - please inform
the
Head Coach -
Swimmers should not over compete and under- train !
No swimmer should swim in more than 10 Open Meets during the year
All swimmers should attempt to qualify/swim in Swim Wales Events -
