Sponge-Jet Low Dust Abrasive Blasting Technology

Aerotech is the sole UK supplier of the Sponge-Jet® low dust abrasive blasting system.

Sponge-Jet offers an alternative solution to other types of abrasive or water blasting. Sponge blasting is a dry, low dust process requiring minimal containment, which reduces downtime and offers a wide range of surface profiles.

The reusable sponge media, consists of standard abrasives or cleaning agents bonded in urethane foam, allowing the user to clean or produce a profile up to +/-4 mils.

Overall, the Sponge-Jet system offers a dry, clean, safe and flexible industrial surface preparation tool at a total job cost often lower than traditional blasting.
