The client requires the delivery of classical hand calculations on train
interior fittings, bodyshells and bogies. The client is a world class
leader in the delivery of rail vehicles but also shares it's portfolio
with the delivery of commercial air vehicles.

Supplies to Slingsby Advanced Composites LTD
AFD has recently secured a work package with Slingsby Advanced Composites
(SAC)
in the delivery of a design and build work package for an advanced reconnaissance
unmanned air vehicle. Slingsby is a specialist composites engineering and
manufacturing company dealing with state-of-the-art materials and processes
responsible for a collection of pioneering applications. Slingsby is involved
in a range of programmes covering air, ground and marine sectors.

Supplies to APPH LTD
AFD has recently secured a work package from APPH
(APPH) for the delivery
of classical fatigue analysis for the landing gear system of the C27J
military transport vehicle. The package requires the generation of revised
fatigue spectra and the completion of fatigue life calculations to support
the requirements of a new customer for the aircraft. APPH is a company that
specialises in the design and manufacture of landing gear systems,
specialising in military and UAV platforms.
