AFD's consultants
have worked for numerous clients on numerous projects
using a variety of analysis tools.
Many of the tools required for stress analysis are
'in-house' client developed tools (e.g. Airbus DAMTOL
suite) and as such, these tools would need to be made
available through the AFD
secure server.
The following standard tools have been acquired by
AFD to support Work
Package delivery and Training Courses:
- MATHCAD
- MSC NASTRAN / PATRAN
- PRO-MECHANICA
- ESACOMP
- NASGRO
- ESACRACK
In addition, the following specialist programs are
available for performing non-linear analyses (i.e. inter-component
contact, large deformation, material non-linearity studies)
and simulations relating to birdstrike, explosion and
production processes:
