The Essex Winter Series is run by the Essex Canoeing Association. The official website of the ECA is www.essexcanoeing.org.uk, where dates, rules and results of all the races in the series are available (see Winter Series pages).

BCU day membership - British Waterways require all participants to be covered by £5 million Public Liability insurance. All competitors who are current members of the BCU or current members of a BCU-affiliated club or Essex Boys Clubs have this automatically. For independent paddlers who are not otherwise covered, BCU day membership will be available at £2.50 on request.
