The members' area is a password-controlled site for restricted to members of BSCC (and their parents). This where you can find club news, details of upcoming events and much more to help you get the most out of your club membership.
Step One: Create your password
The members' area is hosted by GroupSpaces.com and to use it you
first need to set up a GroupSpaces password. This can done here:

You will be asked for your name, email address and your choice
of password. You must be aged 13+ to create an account.
Step Two: Look in your email
inbox for a confirmation email and follow the link
This email will have the heading "Please verify your e-mail
address for Bishops Stortford Canoe Club". (If you do not
see it immediately, have a look in your junk mail folder.) To
complete your registration, click on the link in the email which
says "Please follow this link to verify your e-mail address
...".
Step Three: Enter the site.
This welcome message will pop up when have confirmed your email
address.
If you have used the same email address you gave on your club
membership form, your account is now active.
Click on the Continue button to begin using the Members Area immediately.
(Note: If you have chosen to join with a different email address, activation will be delayed until the webmaster has seen and approved your request - when you continue to the site, the content will still be hidden and there will be a message to say that "Your request to join this group is pending".)
You should now be able to visit the member's area at any time just by clicking on the MEMBER AREA link at the top left hand corner of the main website. Sometimes you may need to enter your email address and password again to get in:
If you prefer, you can add the members' area to your Bookmarks/Favourites. You will probably find that you stay signed in from one session to the next, but if you do need to sign in again, you can use the "sign in" link which appears below the Group News heading.
Please be aware that this system does allow registered club members to email one another, either individually or as part of a particular group. If you receive such an email, you will always be able to see the email address of the person who sent it. The only time other members will see your email address is if you email them.
Answers to some technical questions can be found on the Help tab of the members' area. This is still a very new system for the club and there may still be some issues to be ironed out.
