At just under 2 acres, this is the largest of the lakes, a well established lake surrounded by reeds and trees and is available for pleasure fishing and match’s.
An island was created and landscaped in 2009 to enhance the fishing experience and encourage wildlife.
The lake has 36 decked pegs which meet BDAA standards for disabled anglers, which makes for a comfortable days fishing.
The lake is well stocked with Carp upto 14lb, Tench, Barbel, Ide, Roach, Bream, Rudd, Perch & Crucian carp.

We have regular open match’s throughout the summer and winter so check our forthcoming fixture list for dates, anyone interested in entering then please contact Mark or Craig at the fishery.
Mid week open match’s are also available throughout the summer and winter months so please ask for details.
The Horseshoe lake is our main lake available for match’s, clubs are also welcome to book the lake, so please ask for available dates and prices.

The 2011 season was a great success with the fishing being exceptional all year. Current match record is 150lb in 5 hours and was recorded by Warren Beach who is sponsored by Alvechurch Fisheries.
Best methods on this lake are Pellet feeder using a hair rigged pellet, also pole fishing using paste, pellet and corn.
