October 2007 - Josie McDonald resigns as Committee Chair. We are seeking a new Chair for our Branch development committee. You don't need to have lots of experience of Committees, just enthusiasm for our cause. If you have a little free time to spend (just a few hours a month) and are skilled at organising and coming up with new ideas, maybe this role is suited to you! We would like to welcome Judy Monda as our new Treasurer. Judy has been helping out with our Admin workload in the office, and is a qualified accountant, so we are more than happy to welcome her aboard. As Treasurer, her role will be to provide an extra layer of checks and balances to our finances.
October 2007 - Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Paul Clarke, managed to find time in his extremely busy schedule to pop in to our Annual Open Meeting on 2nd November. Having had personal experience of the devastating effects of dementia, he is a strong supporter of our aims.
