Print packages and reprints up to 12"x18" are printed on an Agfa D-LAB2 while larger prints are printed on a ZBE Chromira printer. Both printers print on photographic wet process paper, the same paper we would use to produce a hand print. We print on Fuji professional DP2 paper which is thicker than the standard Fuji Crystal archive paper.

 

 

 
 
 

We installed the first Chromira in Scotland. With a working resolution of 300ppi producing the highest standard image resolution in the industry.

To attain even higher image quality, the Chromira utilises ZBE patented resolution enhancement technology, which achieves a visual resolution of 425ppi.

 

Other printers (such as leading laser printers) must image at lower resolutions of 200ppi to reach production speeds.
