SCANNING AND COPYING

Machine scans and scan packages are scanned on the D-LAB2. Typical high res files are 400dpi and sized to 5" (short side) x proportion. The typical uncompressed file size for these scans is around 17mb.

Our high end scans are produced using the Imacon Flextight professional scanner. The Imacon Flextight is a simulated drum scanner. This produces outstanding quality scans without the mess associated with traditional drum scanners.

Anyone that has had us produce a Chromira print for them from a negative or transparancy will appreciate just how good these scanners are.
