Andy McKenzie plays acoustic guitar and diatonic button accordion whenever he's allowed. His guitar playing has been likened to watching someone playing a bodhran (traditional one handed Irish drum) with strings on it, such is the ferocity of his playing. This is hardly surprising since Andy is also a regular percussionist in other guises. His favourite instrument is the button accordion, though, which he will insist on playing whenever there's an opportunity.
