Roofing Battens
APT Timber is a major importer of Swedish Roofing Battens. We distribute Type A Swedish Stamped Roofing Battens at very competitive prices throughout the UK. All Roofing Battens that we sell conform to PEFC chain of Custody and each Batten is fully stamped for identification to meet British standards.
APT Timber UK only uses timber sourced from well managed Swedish forests to produce their Battens. By using high quality logs we can insure that our product is of high quality.
We can offer our customers a wide variety of batten sizes, including the main 3 sizes 25 x 38 / 25 x 50 / 19 x 38
The length of Battens range from 3.0m to 5.4m and are all packed to length. All packs are bundled in sets of 10 to meet industry standards.
All our Battens are treated to BS8417:2003 Hazard class 2, Celcure AC800 to comply with regulations and customer demands.
At our terminal in Howdendyke, we offer a pick a pack service where customers can choose their specification and quantity of stock required.
With being a Division of Bowring Transport we are able to offer our customers prompt deliveries and on a wide variety of vehicles, from 4 wheelers to crane offloads to suite our customer needs and requirement.

Here at APT Timber we can also supply a pick a pack or direct load service in most other softwoods whether it be 1 pack or a direct shipload.
Kiln Dried C16 Regularised or Sawn Carcassing
We can offer a wide range of both treated and untreated softwood carcassing with lengths from 1.8m upwards in both rough sawn or regularised with eased or square edges.
Unseasoned Rough Sawn Carcassing and Fencing Products
Sizes from 16 x 38 upto 125 x 250 including 22mm boards, 47mm carcassing, posts and 75mm agricultural purlins. We can offer packs either green or brown treated or untreated if required.
Decking Swedish Redwood VI & Better
Our decking is machined all round to give a smooth finish with eased corners and for full loads we can offer most profiles.
Swedish Framing and Par Profiles
We can offer a large variety of Swedish Redwood or Whitewood par products which include shed framing, shiplap, flooring and matchboard. All packed to length and can be shrink wrapped if required. We can also offer specialised cut to length sizes and difficult profiles for components or cladding.
Featheredge Boards
We can supply in either 22 x 100 / 125 or 22 x 150 in most lengths for fencing.
Eco Briquettes – made from 100% timber
An environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative to solid fuel, made from 100% timber with no added chemicals or preservatives. Carbon Neutral and naturally smoke free. Available from our terminal at Howdendyke in 10kg packs or 480kg pallets (48 x 10kg packs) excellent for open fires, BBQ’s, wood burning stoves and chimineas.
