The regular monitoring of water quality in both domestic hot and cold water systems and wet evaporative cooling towers is essential to ensure the level of any contaminants remains below the maximum acceptable levels recommended by current regulations. Where systems are allowed to deteriate, bacteria including legionella pneumophia, can quickly proliferate to a level where potential hazardous conditions.
