Tests carried out by an Independent Fire Research Centre confirm that Topspec Sterling fire blankets meet all the requirements of BS EN 1869:1997 and are BSI Kitemarked. This range of Ardenoak fire blankets is manufactured from glass fibre which is coated on both sides with a specially developed high fire and temperature resistant coating. These fire blankets are extremely flexible and drape easily. Topspec Sterling Fire Blankets are available in the red or white super slim pack.
The Ardenoak fire blanket can also be used to wrap around a person whose clothes are on fire and can also be used to wrap around a hot or burning object for removal to a safe place.
The Ardenoak blankets do not deteriorate; there are no moving parts, but the blankets are always ready for instantaneous action.
