Begin
by using your tack-remover to pull out the trim-plugs as
shown in the photo..
With the
trim removed, you can now remove the lock-mechanism by
undoing two retaining bolts as shown on the left.
STEP 5
Rotate
the lock-barrel retaining clip anticlockwise and remove.
You will not be refitting this item.
Remove
the lock-barrel.
STEP 6
Using
the gasket as a drilling-template, mark the door for
drilling and then drill the four holes required.
Remember to apply a small amount of touch-up paint to
the drilled holes to provide protection.
Then
insert the zinc-coated backing plate and reinsert the
lock-barrel.
