STEP 7 |
|
|
Using
either the supplied drilling-template or the zinc-coated
backing plate as a guide, mark the holes for drilling
and then drill 4 holes starting with a small pilot hole
and ending with a 10mm bit or your conical drill-bit.
Don't forget to apply a small amount of touchup paint...

| Put
the backing plate in position, reinsert the lock barrel
and refit the lock-rod which you detached earlier.

| STEP 8 |
|
Fit
a circular and rectangular gasket to the front stainless
steel plate and apply a small amount of silicone sealant
around the stud areas.

STEP 9
|
| Fit
the stainless steel plate and fix with the Nyloc
Locknuts.
Do
Not Overtighten The Nuts!
Where access to the locking nuts is restricted, you could
use a make-up "eyeliner pen" to grip the nut!.
