Using
the stainless-steel plate (or supplied template), mark
the holes for drilling. Drill the holes using a 10mm
drill-bit or (if preferred) your conical bit. Once
drilled, protect the area with a small amount of
touch-up paint.

Now
fit the stainless steel frontplate to the outside
of the door and the zinc backplate to the inside
of the door
