Here
is an overview of some of the work we do at our practice:
|
| |
Space
planning |
| |
We
work with clients on space planning including interior design and
furniture selection. We assess requirements and suggest options for
the most advantageous use of current or new space |
| |
Feasibility
studies |
| |
We
are frequently asked to assess the most advantageous way to develop
a redundant site or vacant building
|
| |
Refurbishment
& change of use
|
| |
Old
buildings are often put to new uses and it is our objective to maximise
the potential with careful integration of modern technologies and
redesign of space
|
| |
Design
& build
|
| |
Arthurell
& Kirkland can assist contractors on design and build contracts,
providing them with detailed drawings and the benefit of technical
assistance where this is required |
| |
Listed
buildings advice |
| |
Over
the years we have worked on a considerable number of listed properties
from country houses mentioned by Pevsner to listed oak barns and houses
in Kensington and Chelsea |
| |
Project
management |
| |
We
act in project management roles, writing briefs and overseeing the
works being undertaken by other consultants and contractors |
| |
Planning
studies |
| |
Detailed
appraisals in conjunction with planning consultants can be provided
at an early stage, We will progress these through to submissions and
appeals where appropriate |
| |
Party
wall act |
| |
We
have considerable experience in dealing with party wall matters and
will issue notices and schedules of conditions where relevant |
| |
Planning

| |
Since
the introduction of the Construction (Design Management) Act it is
now a legal requirement for a Planning Supervisor to be appointed
to check health and safety matters before and during site construction,
