Service times Our normal service times are: · Sunday 10.30am (includes junior church) · Sunday 6pm

Outlining the Service
The preacher will have a steward with them in the vestry; the morning service will commence at 10.30am with any additional notices read by a steward, who will then lead the morning prayer printed on the notice sheets, to focus ourselves on the Worship. Our young people are present at the beginning of the Service and leave for their activities after the second hymn with a blessing from the preacher. The Lord’s Prayer may be spoken or sung, according to the preacher’s preference.
The offering is taken after the Junior Church leave. The congregation stand whilst the offering is being brought forward.
Any specific Prayer requests will be given to the preacher before the service in the prayer book.
The evening service begins at 6pm. Prior to 6pm there will be a sharing of hymns/songs from our Worship Collection book, this will be led from the front. The person leading the singing will share the prayer printed on the notice sheets prior to the preacher taking the lead in the remainder of the Worship.

Further information about our Services (mainly for the use of visiting preachers)
· We follow the lectionary themes which include using the Roots worship material.
· Hymns and from Hymns & Psalms and Songs of Fellowship. We have a CCL No., and preachers should ensure that any new hymns have the author’s name and publisher printed on them. Preachers should provide their hymns to the office by Wednesday so that they may be forwarded on to the organist. On occasion we may have to use organ discs.
· We have a list of readers to assist the preacher. Preachers should provide the readings to the office by Wednesday, thank you.
· We can provide the Methodist Worship Book if needed.
· A roving microphone is provided for the preacher.
· Multimedia presentations can be used. If a presentation is required preachers should provide their presentation on a USB Memory stick and we will provide someone to run the prestentation, or alternatively the Administrator can place the service on to the multi media. If any illustrations are required these need to be given to the Office by Wednesday. Thank you.
· We also have the facility to play taped or CD Music and we can record a service if requested.
· Printed notice sheets are provided.
